On the set of The Fly (1986), Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis agreed to a trade. Davis would get get Goldblum's acting talent and Goldblum would get Davis timeless looks. Unfortunately the satanic ritual being performed by David Cronenberg, who was a novice in the dark arts at the time, was interrupted when co-star John Getz walked in and demanded a sandwich. As a result the only exchange that took place was Goldblum acquiring John Getz's youth. This explains why no one has seen John Getz since 1991 and why Geena Davis, to date, remains talentless.
