i am completely heartbroken by what i thought was a man, who i thought was tender and loving and sweet to the very end, who somehow turned on me, during the darkest of my times, turned callous and unrecognizable. to the point that i was truly scared at having brought this person so close to me, not really knowing them truly at all.
trust is such a frightening, fleeting and completely unreliable sense. it has all but been decimated for me now.
