The President

Prologue





The president’s heart was no longer vested in the propagation of a war begun several terms earlier by a predecessor. A war whose beginning the fighting soldiers could not remember.

The war had escalated so much so that much of Florida and Louisiana had been incinerated. Anyone left alive along the gulf coast after the Southern Invasion was either a prisoner or a northerner. This was no longer a war to benefit the rich who believed that the investment would pay off after a few years of sacrifice. -

This was no longer a war that would establish the country’s political prowess and reestablish masculinity in every mother’s son.

Most definitely the creeping Christian right had not been bolstered by the near million dying faithful.
This was the third world war no one had predicted.

This was the war that threw everyone into the cold. A great migration to Canada and Siberia became the only immediate option, once it was discovered that the enemy could not withstand low temperatures but kept standing under nuclear attack. MORE
